Science begins with what can be seen, known, discovered, measured, and repeated. The search for knowledge includes a hope that whatever is unknown today will be discovered or explained tomorrow. For many researchers, this view of science does not leave room for the existence of God. However, there are many Christian scientists whose passion for science led to and has fueled their belief in God.
Beginning with a Big Bang. Observing patterns within the stars and planets, astronomers suggest the universe began from a single point. They believe that light and energy have been expanding from that single point for almost 14 billion years, forming the galaxies we now know.

Watch OnlineWhat The Bible Says
Christianity, at its core, should fuel exploration of our physical world. Even in the book of Genesis God gave the first man, Adam, the job to care for the garden of Eden and to name the creatures of the earth. As Christians believe every law of nature was created by God and points to God, it should be the believer’s joy to discover the secrets of God’s great creation.
The Intelligent Designer. As every creation has a creator, believers point to the complexity of life as evidence that time alone could not have created life or our universe by accident. Christians follow the Biblical account of creation found in the book of Genesis. In this account, God creates the world in six days and then rests on the seventh. Some Bible scholars suggest a literal six days while others allow more room for the interpretation of time.
What if your natural curiosity about how the world works was a gift from God? The Bible shares how God’s greatness is found in his creation. If the existence of God was possible, could you begin to see God in the miraculous discoveries of science?
What would happen if you embraced the possibility that the God of the Bible really did create the world and really does care for you?

Meet PeoplePascal's Wager
In the seventeenth century, a famous philosopher and mathematician, Blaise Pascal, encouraged people to make a wager when it came to belief in God. If a person chose to believe in God and God did exist, that person would gain everything (eternal life). If a person chose to believe in God and God did not exist, that person would lose nothing. On the other hand, if a person chose not to believe in God and he was right, he would lose nothing. But if that person did not believe in God and he was wrong- he would lose everything (lose eternal life).
This wager can be said another way:
Based on this logic, Pascal suggested the rational person would choose to believe in God as believing offers a person everything (eternal life) while losing nothing. Wherever you are in your faith journey, would you consider taking Pascal’s wager? If the good God of the Bible exists, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by believing in Him today.
